Star Moon Technology LLC ('we', 'us', or 'our') operates Right Hand, an AI-powered call assistant and customer communication service ('Service'). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you create an account, we collect: email address, full name, password (encrypted), role, primary use case, usage frequency, and discovery source. For Google OAuth users, we also collect your Google ID.
We collect and process audio recordings you upload or record through our Service, including: audio files (MP3, WAV, WebM), live audio streams via WebSocket connections, transcriptions generated from your audio, speaker identification data, and conversation metadata (duration, participants, timestamps).
We store content generated by our AI services including: notes, summaries, mindmaps, flashcards, quizzes, slide decks, and other educational materials created from your audio content.
If you use our Call Assist feature, we collect: phone numbers (yours and callers), call recordings and transcriptions, Google Calendar integration data, AI agent configurations, and call metadata.
For business accounts, we collect: organization details, team member information, workspace configurations, and collaboration data.
We automatically collect: IP addresses, browser type and version, device information, usage patterns and feature utilization, session duration and frequency, and error logs and performance metrics.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store subscription details and invoice records but do not directly collect credit card information.
We use your information to: provide and maintain our transcription and note-taking services; generate AI-powered content from your audio; enable real-time collaboration features; process payments and manage subscriptions; provide customer support; improve our Service through analytics; send important service communications; ensure security and prevent fraud; and comply with legal obligations.

We only share data necessary for service functionality. All third-party services are carefully selected for their privacy and security standards. We have data processing agreements with key service providers to ensure your data is protected.

We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions where applicable.
Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have that information deleted.
We may send you service-related communications that are necessary for account management. For promotional communications, we will only send them with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred to the new entity. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our Service of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your personal information.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., court orders, government agencies). We may also disclose information to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or through a notice on our Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
Right Hand sends two categories of transactional SMS messages as a core part of its service. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. All SMS activity is directly tied to an AI-assisted call handled on behalf of a business using Right Hand.
Right Hand account holders must enter their mobile phone number during account setup and explicitly enable 'Call Summary SMS' in their account settings before any messages are sent. This constitutes express written consent. Once enabled, one (1) SMS is sent per completed AI-assisted call summarizing the caller's name, number, request, and a recommended action, with a one-tap prompt to confirm, decline, or reply with custom instructions. A link to view the full call in the Right Hand app is included. Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately, or disable the setting in your account at any time.
At the end of each AI-assisted call, the Right Hand voice agent verbally discloses: 'I'll send you a quick text summary of our conversation. Reply STOP to any message if you'd like to opt out.' By remaining on the call through this disclosure, the caller provides verbal consent to receive one (1) transactional confirmation SMS. No further messages are sent to the caller unless they initiate a reply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out; the number is added to our suppression list immediately.
Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the SMS messages described above. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS delivery records are retained for up to 12 months for compliance and audit purposes. Opt-out (STOP) records are retained indefinitely to ensure suppression is permanently honored.
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Right Hand does not charge separately for SMS messages. For help, reply HELP to any Right Hand SMS or contact us at contact@getrighthand.app.
